The Four Seasons Kyoto commissioned us to create this design. The background is a gradation from blue-purple to red-purple (kyomurasaki), which is the image of Kyoto, and the flowers of the four seasons are arranged to represent Kyoto's long history. Pearl foil and gold and silver threads were skillfully woven into the tapestry weave in a design and expression method that can be harmonized with various events.
